Kellan Lutz doesn’t want guys to be scared off by the “Twilight” love story.
In fact, he assures guys that the upcoming sequel “Eclipse” is “badass.”
“The action really drew me in and I think the guys are really going to like this movie,” he told MTV News, suggesting that both the romantic and action elements would make a great date-night movie.
Without spoiling too much of the plot for those who haven’t read the books, “Eclipse” will mobilize the vampires and the werewolves in a battle that involves Bella (Kristen Stewart) of course.
“I enjoy doing action movies,” said Lutz. “I enjoy being, you know, fighting and stuff like there, but there’s a lot of action [this time around]. A lot more than the love story.”
You can get a sneak preview of the action in the “Eclipse” trailer that will play before Robert Pattinson’s “Remember Me,” which hits theaters on Friday, March 12. “Eclipse” will premiere on June 30.

EW is dropping the word that a Twilight Eclipse sneak peek will be on a Twilight New Moon DVD release, giving fans a 7-minute look at the third chapter of the Twilight Saga. Please note that this special preview will ONLY be on the Walmart’s Ultimate Fan Edition . The report indicates that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Stephenie Meyer (Tomio Note: if there is no Ashley Greene, who cares?) all have behind the scenes interviews in the package. This edition will be released on March 20th, and you can pre-order it now from Walmart!
Here is what’s noted on the product listing:
This Ultimate Fan Edition with collectible Lenticular Packaging includes a 7-minute sneak peek of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” which begins with an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the production of the newest film in the franchise. New interviews with stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, as well as with series-creator Stephenie Meyer are integrated with revealing, on-the-set footage of some of the key scenes and sets from the upcoming movie. This first-look at “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” then concludes with the world premiere of an actual scene from the film between Bella and Edward that will surely have “Twilight” fans swooning.
“Twilight” fans only have a handful of days to go before Taylor Lautner’s 18th birthday.
We’re sure he’ll celebrate entering adulthood in style, maybe even kicking it with his “Twilight” co-stars.
But what can you do to honor your favorite film werewolf? Besides watching a marathon of Taylor’s films, here are a few ideas:
Wear blue – This is Taylor’s favorite color, which you can see from his Celebrity Beach Bowl uniform (pictured).
Decorate using a shark, wolf or dog motif – Have you noticed that Taylor has an affinity for animals? Two of his biggest films — the “Twilight” saga and “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl” — cast him in a role that’s part animal. In interviews, he’s called himself a “dog guy.” He has a Maltese named Roxy.
Create a mixtape/playlist - Some of Taylor’s favorites: Kings of Leon, Kevin Rudolf’s “Let It Rock,” Timbaland/One Republic’s “Apologize,” Chris Brown’s “Forever,” “See You Again” by Miley Cyrus. Also add in Cassi Thompson’s “Caught Up in You” (he was in the video), ex Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” that Kristen Stewart once sang to him and your favorite song from the “Twilight: New Moon” soundtrack (we’d recommend Death Cab for Cutie’s “Meet Me on the Equinox.”)
So apparently the Twilight Eclipse script was leaked over the Holidays. How exciting. The script can be found HERE! I downloaded it and confirm it IS the real thing
This has been confirmed as a real script, but is an old one. Pretty cool! The script is watermarked with ‘Jackson Rathbone’, who plays Jasper Hale in the movie. It’s also a “blue draft” script so who knows how much is valid towards the final making of the movie. There’s been talk about if it was a staff member that got a hold of it, if it was found in the garbage or if it’s Jackson’s fault….who knows.
Here’s the executive producer in charge of bringing the Twilight Saga to the big screen. Here’s some great tidbits about the franchise.

Talks about why it was smart to film New Moon and Eclipse back to back
Breaking Dawn talk – are they talking about making the film. What’s the status?
Is he thinking about David Slade or Chris Weitz coming back for Breaking Dawn
4:05 – Are they thinking about two films for Breaking Dawn. Says it’s certainly possible.
On New Moon, how did he juggle as the producer the story, the budget, and the bigger worldwide scope of it
6:00 There has been a lot of talk that the Eclipse teaser trailer is on New Moon. Is that true
I mention that a good idea would be to attach the teaser trailer for Eclipse after the movie has been out for a week, that way fans would maybe want to go back. He smiles and says that’s a good idea. Could that be the plan?
7:05 Piracy talk
8:05 – Comic-Con 2010 talk – Since Eclipse will already be out, do they have any plans to be there yet for the DVD or maybe Breaking Dawn
